Scuba-Cozumel takes great pride that we are the dive operation that is often referred to by other dive professionals in the industry. <p>The Diver Center at Scuba Cozumel<br> All diving activities and dive trips are coordinated and scheduled at our full service dive center. Facilities include an International Training Center offering certification at all levels and specialty courses, an air filling station consisting of four compressors and a five-stage filtering system, a full line of rental gear and basic repairs shop, as well. Your dive and boat schedule is posted here daily.</p> <p>Scuba Cozumel broke the mold for dive boats over 30 years ago by being the first to offer custom made dive boats. Our fleet of 7 custom made dive boats of various sizes can accommodate groups of 8 to 20 divers. Each boat is equipped with heads, shaded areas, dive platforms and deep- water ladders for easy exits. All the boats have Oxygen, marine radios, and first aid kits. Our crews are trained in fist aid and providing oxygen. Many of our staff have trained and been with us for many years which is the exception and not the rule in the Caribbean. Our PADI instructors and Divemasters are full time and eager to share their knowledge of Cozumels' beautiful underwater reefs. With over a century of combined experience in Cozumels Underwater Marine Parks and surrounding area their knowledge of the reefs is superb. We offer daily dive trips and all the PADI courses and specialties.</p> <h3><a href="diverates.html">Scuba Cozumel Rates</a></h3> <h3><a href="diveboats.html">Scuba Cozumel Dive Boats</a></h3> <h1><font size="2" face="Trebuchet MS">Scuba-Cozumel has a fleet of seven custom built dive boats. All the boats have VHF radios, first aid kits, Coast Guard approved emergency equipment, Oxygen kits, heads, rinse tanks for masks and for cameras, and wide dive platforms with sturdy step ladders.</font></h1> <p><font face="Trebuchet MS"><b><font size="3">The Dive Center opens daily at 7:00 a.m.</font></b></font><font size="3"><br> <br> <font face="Trebuchet MS"><b>Daily Dive Trips - Two tanks</b></font></font></p> <p><font size="2" face="Trebuchet MS">Dive boats leave at 8:30 a.m. (weather permitting) from out docks. Be ready at 8:15 for boarding.Two dives are made each morning and arrive back to the resort in time for lunch around 1:00 p.m.</font></p> <p><font size="3" face="Trebuchet MS"><b>Afternoon Wreck Dive - One tank</b></font></p> <p><font size="2" face="Trebuchet MS">At 3:00 in the afternoon we make a special trip to the wreck of the <a href="wreck.html" target="main">Felipe Xicotencatl</a> located very close to the resort on nearby Tormentos Reef. This vessel was a mine sweeper for the U.S. Navy during World War II. </font></p> <p><font size="3" face="Trebuchet MS"><b>Twilight Dive Trips - Two tanks</b></font></p> <p><font size="2" face="Trebuchet MS">About an hour before sunset the coral reefs come alive as some fish prepare for their nights rest, while others take advantage of the low light to feed. You can experience the dusk dive on our two-tank dusk dive trip, one in Palancar Reef and one on Tormentos Reef.</font></p> <p><font size="3" face="Trebuchet MS"><b>Night Dive Trips - One tank</b></font></p> <p><font size="2" face="Trebuchet MS">If you think the reefs are beautiful during the day, wait until you see them at night! Boat night dives are scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays or upon request (minimum of 6 divers). Shore night dives can be done any night right in front of the resort.</font></p> <p><font face="Trebuchet MS" size="2">Wreck, twilight and night dives are at an additional cost and are not part of the RMD Packages.</font></p> <p><font size="3" face="Trebuchet MS"><b>Beach Diving</b></font></p> <p><font size="2" face="Trebuchet MS">Not enough time to boat dive while in Cozumel? Try our backyard diving. You'll find great diving right off shore from the resort. You can check out tanks from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.</font></p> <p><font size="3" face="Trebuchet MS"><b>The Dive Center closes at 6:00 p.m. daily.</b></font></p> <h1><a href="divesites.html">Cozumel Dive Sites</a></h1> <font size="2" face="Trebuchet MS">Due to the prevailing currents found in Cozumel, all boat dives are drift dives. Divemasters will lead every group of divers. The pace is generally very relaxed. When the currents are running stronger its easiest to go with the flow and let the current carry you over the reefs and through the passes. Naturally some dives are more advanced than others and your guide will help to evaluate your diving comfort level so they may suggest dive sites best suited to your skill level.</font> <h1><a href="divestore.html">Our Cozumel Div</a><a href="divestore.html">e Store</a></h1> <p><font size="2" face="Trebuchet MS">Immediately across the street from the resort you'll find our PADI 5-Star Dive Center retail store.
