Cozumel
Dive Sites
Cozumel
is unique in the fact that we have a prevailing current along
our shore line. For this reason all our boat dives are drift
dives. Divemasters accompany all the dive trips. The pace
of the drift dive is dictated by the current. Generally all
you need to do is get neutrally buoyant and go with the flow.
You will need to stay in sight of the divemaster at all times.
Some dive are more advanced than others, the dive shop and
guides will suggest the best spots best suited to your skill
level.
Most dive sites are located 10 to 50 minute boat ride from
our dock.
One of the newest sites in Cozumel is the wreck of the Felipe
Xicotencatl or (C-53) as it is numbered. The wreck is located
nearby close to Chancanaab park. We make daily trips (minimum
4 divers) to the wreck at 3:00 p.m.
The reefs in Cozumel are located in a National Marine Park.
A $2 park fee per day must be paid be each diver.
